Users have been experiencing issues with loading games on Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming platform. The problems began last Thursday and it took more than 24 hours to fully resolve. Users across various platforms reported that games were taking much longer to load than usual, with some experiencing delays of 50 minutes or more. Even after games finally loaded, players were facing repeated disconnections.
According to Microsoft’s status page, there was a message saying, “There may be issues with launching cloud games or with disconnections during game play.”
Microsoft acknowledged the issue and stated on Friday, “There may be longer than expected wait times to launch games, but users should expect faster connections than usual.”
At the time of writing, Microsoft’s status page showed that all services were functioning normally.
It’s worth noting that Xbox Cloud Gaming has experienced disruptions in the past.
